Sometimes love is more than tragedy or bliss. Ambitious twenty-two-year-old Lexie Waters is intent on taking the advertising world by storm. When she’s offered the soon-to-be open position she’s been vying for at a swanky advertising agency, there’s only one last summer separating her from dreams of corporate success. Still bitter from catching her boyfriend cheating, she heads out for a night of fun to see her favorite band, Devil’s Garden, but fun turns into utter embarrassment when she insults the enticingly confident lead singer, Van Sinclair. Van is intrigued by Lexie’s ability to resist his charm and secretly obtains her cell number. Shocked but eager to get to know this captivating rocker, Lexie accepts Van’s invitation to see his next show, which requires an overnight stay. The overwhelming feelings that follow take them both by surprise, and with two months left before starting her sought after new position, Lexie joins the tour. As she’s catapulted into the world of groupies and wild parties, she questions Van’s commitment to her.Add to Goodreads

Ten Things You
Didn’t Know About Amy Gale
Ok, so we all know I’m a romance writer
but I’d like to share some tidbits about me which tend to find their way into
my novels.
1. I
love rock music. From the first time I saw a live show, which was Aerosmith at our
local stadium, I was hooked on rockers. The way they take control over the
crowd while belting out their lyrics made me stare in awe as well as swoon. In
my eyes, the sex appeal of a rock god is nothing less than enchanting. Over the
years, I’ve attended many concerts and still get the same chill as I did when I
was twelve. Expressing a story through music and lyrics is one of the most
magical forms of art.
2. I’m
a beach girl. My favorite place to be is the beach. Every year I make sure I
get to feel the sand between my toes and hear the waves crash against the
coastline at least once. It sends me into a completely relaxed state and I
yearn for the day I can dig my feet in the sand while reading a book.
3. I’m
an animal lover. Anyone who’s visited my website, Facebook fan page, or Twitter
can see a plethora of pictures of my furry babies. I have six cats and a golden
retriever. A few were rescues and a few found me, either through word of mouth
or by showing up at my doorstep. I participate in events to help my local pet
rescues and dream of the day where every homeless pet has a warm bed and loving
home.
4. In
my spare time I decorate cakes. After taking a cake decorating class at my
local craft store, I not only began to bake and decorate elaborate cakes, but I
also made a great friend. We join forces every year to create a fabulous
Halloween confection.
5. I
can’t turn down sweets. I was blessed (or burdened) with a craving for anything
and everything chocolate. No way will I be turning down that cookie or piece of
cake. My favorite guilty pleasure is the heath bar sundae at one of our local
ice cream parlors (yum).
6. I
think I was Santa’s elf in a previous life. I absolutely love Christmas. From
the sparkling lights on the tree, to the wrapping of presents, and spending
time with family and friends, there’s no better time of year than Christmas.
This year, I must have been a very good girl since Santa brought me a new
laptop. Now I’m ready to write more novels in style.
7. I
love zombies, vampires, and all things supernatural. Even though I write
romance novels, I’m a huge horror and sci-fi fan. I can’t get enough of The
Walking Dead, True Blood, Supernatural, and anything by Wes Craven. If you
think about it, don’t all these shows/movies have a little romance in them?
8. I
exercise as much as I can. As a pharmacist, I know the benefits of eating right
and exercising, but because of my sweet tooth I try and make sure I always find
time to exercise. I put my ear buds in my ears, crank up the Ipod, and let out
my frustrations of the day on my elliptical. I even come up with new ideas for
my novels while working up a sweat.
9. I’m
a flip-flop and nail polish junkie. You would think it would be hard to get so
much use out of flip-flops in the few months it’s warm enough to wear them in
northeast PA, but I manage to use them all. Who can wear flip-flops without
properly polished nails? I probably have close to every color marketed, but
seem to find more anytime I’m at a beauty supply store.
10. I
always wanted to be a Jedi Knight. I’m a huge Star Wars fan and secretly wished
I could save the day with a few swipes of my light saber. And who didn’t wish
they could perform the Jedi mind trick? Believe me, there’s more than a few
situations I wish I had that ability.
You’ll find little pieces of myself in
my writing and these ten things you now know certainly show themselves in my
novels.
